Senior Analyst at Toast: Driving the Restaurant Platform to Success
Are you ready to join a team that is passionate about helping restaurants thrive? Toast is looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Finance Strategy and Analytics team. In this role, you will use your analytical and financial expertise to provide valuable insights for decision-making within our Go-To-Market function. As a pivotal member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and impact the financial performance of our company in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop advanced financial models and analyses using SQL to support business projects and resource allocation decisions
– Collaborate with business partners to gather data and produce accurate financial projections and forecasts
– Deliver clear, actionable insights through data-driven presentations to GTM leadership
– Leverage various tools, such as Hex, Excel, Sigma, and Python, to transform complex data sets into meaningful insights
– Analyze performance and variances to refine forecasts and drive improvement
– Communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to build trusted relationships and enhance business outcomes
– Proactively and reactively address business questions through independent data analysis
Qualifications:
– 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Strategic Finance roles, or Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, economics/finance, or physical science
– Proficient in SQL and data visualization
– Experience with Python and interactive dashboard building is a plus
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Detail-oriented with a positive attitude
– Adaptable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
