Faptic Technology is a fast-growing scale-up organization with a strong ambition to become a top technology company in Romania. We are currently seeking a Senior PHP Web Developer to join our dynamic team and help accelerate our growth.
Responsibilities:
– Design and implement new features/projects
– Maintain and refactor existing web applications such as the company’s website, registration forms, Members Area and internal web services
– Research and integrate new web technologies
– Write tests to ensure code testability, code coverage, and quality
– Resolve support tickets for IT related issues
Requirements:
– BSc/MSc in Information Technology or relevant degree
– Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position
– Excellent knowledge of PHP 7+, MySQL, Redis, and Git
– Experience with creating and consuming web services
– Familiarity with modern PHP frameworks
– Experience with writing tests using PHPUnit
– Ability to research and adapt new web technologies
– Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable Experience:
– Experience with Symfony framework
– Knowledge of software development practices such as design patterns, SOLID principles, and DRY
– Familiarity with Cloud Services (AWS)
– Experience with front-end frameworks or libraries such as Angular or React
