Position: Analytics Engineer II at Kueski
Location: Mexico

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Analytics Engineer to join our team. This role will involve implementing the best technologies for data processing and using analytical insights to drive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and deploy trusted and well-governed datasets to support decision-making across the company
– Extract data from various sources and maintain databases/data systems
– Work with large volumes of data in an efficient and optimized manner
– Analyze data using statistical techniques and provide regular reports
– Assess the quality of our data and ensure data stewardship and governance
– Develop and automate data pipelines
– Use data visualization tools to present insights in a user-friendly manner
– Identify and implement process improvement opportunities
– Collaborate with stakeholders to drive improvements in products and KPIs
– Automate and optimize manual processes
Position Requirements:
– Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Data Engineer
– Proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages like Python, R, or others
– Familiarity with data pipelines and automation
– Strong experience in developing dashboards with BI tools such as Tableau
– Knowledge of statistical methods for experimental design
– Quantitative and analytical background, preferably with a degree in Engineering, Actuarial Sciences, Physics, Mathematics, or a related field
– Technical skills in data transformation and modeling
– Excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
– Experience with statistical analyses and experiments, such as A/B tests and significance tests
– Fluency in English
Nice to have:
– Experience with data building and modeling tools (dbt) and version control systems (git)
– Knowledge of ETL/ELT design, development, optimization, and testing
– Familiarity with data analytics tools like Databricks, Astronomer, Airflow, and DataCatalog
– Experience working with AWS
