Job Description:
BETSOL is seeking a talented and experienced Power BI Developer with a minimum of 2-4 years of hands-on experience.
Responsibilities and Duties:
– Understand business challenges and offer effective data and analytical solutions to support decision-making processes
– Develop and test hypotheses using established methods
– Create visually appealing data visualizations to effectively communicate insights
– Design, develop, and validate predictive and explanatory models using a variety of techniques
– Present findings to diverse audiences
– Responsible for project documentation
Qualifications:
– 2-4 years of practical experience with Power BI, including report development and SQL proficiency
– Ability to create custom visualizations based on wireframes
– Familiarity with building Analysis Services reporting models
– Experience writing DAX queries in Power BI desktop
– Proficiency in developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop
– Expertise in advanced-level data calculations
– Strong analytical skills to translate data into meaningful reports and visuals
– Knowledge of PBI components including Power Query, Power Pivot, Power View, Power BI Desktop, Power BI Website, and Power BI Mobile Apps
– Excellent communication skills
– Experience with other BI tools and systems such as Tableau, SAP, and Power BI
– Ability to connect data sources, import data, and transform data for business intelligence
– Familiarity with developing tabular and multidimensional models in line with data warehouse standards
Additional Information:
Preferred Experience:
– Proficiency in reading and programming in SAS
– Education or experience in computer science, statistics, data science, mathematics, engineering, or other quantitative fields
– Experience in analytical or operational roles in fields such as Hospital Operations, Public Health, Epidemiology, Pharmacy, Nursing, or other relevant medical areas is highly valued. Apply link
