Job Description:
Position: Senior Machine Learning / Large Language Model Engineer
Duration: 6 months (part-time)
Hours: Ideally 15 hours per week / 60 hours per month
Location: Candidates must be located within the European Union or have relocated from Ukraine, CIS, Balkans, Asia, or Africa to an EU country. Only EU-based candidates will be considered due to data sensitivity.
Flexible Working Hours: Working time may be adjusted based on experience and rate.
We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with expertise in Generative AI to work on a cutting-edge health chatbot project. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI tools, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems. This part-time role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful AI solutions while maintaining flexibility within a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI solutions using state-of-the-art LLM technologies.
– Build and optimize RAG pipelines for enhanced information retrieval.
– Develop scalable APIs using FastAPI for AI service deployment.
– Integrate knowledge bases and vector databases using frameworks like LangChain and LlamaIndex.
– Implement and monitor performance metrics for AI models and systems.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions.
– Ensure all systems meet security and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in Machine Learning/AI development.
Technical Skills:
– Proficiency in Python programming.
– Experience with GenAI tools/frameworks: LangChain, LlamaIndex, and RAG systems.
– Familiarity with ChatGPT/OpenAI APIs and prompt engineering.
– Expertise in building RESTful APIs using FastAPI.
– Solid understanding of SQL databases and version control systems like Git.
– MLOps: Model deployment and optimization. Monitoring and scaling ML systems.
Preferred Skills:
– Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
– Familiarity with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
– Understanding of vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate).
– Knowledge of ML monitoring and observability tools.
– Contribution to open-source projects.
