Position: Python Developer at Omilia
We are seeking a skilled Python Developer to join our product development team and contribute to the evolution and maintenance of Omilia’s innovative Cloud services.
The product team is responsible for delivering cutting-edge functionality in the field of Conversational AI and Virtual Assistant technologies to Banks and Mobile Network Operators globally.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design and develop high-volume, low-latency applications using Python 3
– Contribute to all stages of the development life cycle
– Ensure code is efficient and in compliance with specifications
– Continuously improve processes by exploring new technologies and presenting them for review
– Actively collaborate as part of a team to achieve project goals
– Regularly meet with the line manager to review progress
– Effectively manage and escalate issues
– Work with other teams, units, and departments to achieve objectives
– Support the organization’s priorities as needed
– Act as an Omilia ambassador
Requirements:
– 3+ years of experience in Python development
– Proficiency in Django, FastAPI, or similar web frameworks
– Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
– Upper Intermediate level of English (both oral and written)
Nice to Have:
– Experience with Linux, Docker, and Kubernetes
– Knowledge of CI/CD processes
– Familiarity with AI and NLP technologies
– Experience with speech-related technologies
– Previous experience working within an Agile framework
– Understanding of secure coding principles
