Position Title: Full Stack Engineer at Hoop

Position Description:
As a Full Stack Engineer at Hoop, you will join our early-stage engineering team and play a pivotal role in building our AI-driven productivity software. Reporting directly to our co-founder and Chief Product Officer, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our team, make technical decisions, and contribute to our product vision and roadmap. Your responsibilities will include:
– Collaborating with the team to identify opportunities, prioritize work, and make key technical decisions.
– Developing core product features and integrations with other tools in the knowledge worker tech stack.
– Taking ownership of complex engineering and business challenges and effectively communicating with stakeholders.
– Contributing to the product vision and roadmap with your engineering expertise and understanding of our mission, market, and customers.

Qualifications:
– Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience as a full-stack engineer.
– Versatile engineering skillset and refined product sensibilities.
– Experience with modern web application frameworks and platforms such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js, Tailwind, SASS/LESS, Node.js, Postgres, AWS, and Vercel.
– Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
– Passion for excellence in craft and attention to detail.
– Preference for asynchronous working practices and remote work.
– Must be based in the United States.
