Location: Home-based, UK

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 pro rata

Contract: 3 months fixed term (potential to extend for 3 more months)

Reach Plc, the largest commercial publisher in the UK, is seeking a Senior Data Analyst with experience in A/B testing and experimentation to join our Data Science team. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will work closely with the Experimentation Manager and stakeholders to design A/B tests, analyze data, and provide recommendations for decision-making.

Job Description

As the Senior Data Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting regular A/B tests and analyses to determine statistical significance and the impact of test results. You will be involved in all stages of the experiment lifecycle, from setup to analysis, and will define, create, and select metrics to track for experiments. You will translate stakeholder requirements into testable hypotheses, design experiments, and provide data-informed recommendations and alternative variations to test. Additionally, you will conduct deep-dive analysis to understand user behavior and identify opportunities for engagement growth.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with previous experience as a Data/Product/Growth Analyst. You must have advanced SQL knowledge for handling and transforming raw data for analysis and be able to identify data quality issues. Experience in A/B testing and experimentation is essential for this role. You should have a strong understanding of statistical principles applicable to A/B testing, such as statistical significance, confidence intervals, and power calculations. Experience with advanced statistical techniques and knowledge of quasi-experimental methods of analysis and causal inference are desirable.
