ENS is a pioneering decentralized naming system that links human-readable names (e.g. “myname.eth”) to standard Ethereum addresses and other distributed systems. With over 3 million registered .eth names and partnerships with major teams in the crypto ecosystem, ENS is at the forefront of Web3 technologies.
We are seeking a skilled Frontend Engineer to join our team at ENS Labs, the core development group behind the ENS protocol. In this role, you will work on creating intuitive, seamless, and visually stunning interfaces that empower users to interact with ENS and the decentralized web. As part of a highly collaborative and agile team, you will play a key role in designing and implementing innovative frontend experiences that drive the adoption of Web3 technologies and make crypto-powered experiences more accessible.

Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop user-friendly web applications that seamlessly integrate with wallets, smart contracts, and APIs.
– Design, test, and deploy high-quality web applications for ENS, with a focus on scalability and user-centric experiences.
– Innovate and introduce new ideas, tools, and technologies to enhance our platform and improve existing features.
– Work closely with product and design teams to gather user feedback, identify business needs, and translate them into impactful features and enhancements.
– Follow industry best practices for secure frontend development in the Web3 space.
– Continuously improve testing frameworks to ensure thorough testing of code with multiple test types.
– Stay updated on the latest Web3 development practices, tools, and trends.
Qualifications:
– 3+ years of experience as a frontend engineer with a track record of successfully building and deploying web applications.
– Strong proficiency in Typescript and frontend development.
– Ability to create clean, responsive, and user-friendly interfaces that enhance the user experience.
– Comfortable working with structured design systems and in a fast-paced environment.
– Proficient in debugging and resolving issues related to user input and edge cases.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers, engineers, and external partners.
– Able to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality code standards.
– Genuine passion for Web3 technologies and understanding of the values that underpin them, such as blockchain, smart contracts, and decentralized governance.
Nice to Have:
– Experience building decentralized applications (dApps) or working with decentralized protocols like ENS or other Ethereum-based projects.
