Senior Manager, Web Design at Veeam
Veeam, the leading global provider of data protection and ransomware recovery solutions, is seeking a Senior Manager of Web Design to join their team in Seattle. As Senior Manager of Web Design, you will play a crucial role in elevating Veeam’s digital experience through design. This is a people leader role, where you will manage a team of 3+ web and digital designers, providing guidance, mentorship, and constructive feedback. You will foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning, and develop and implement design processes, standards, and best practices. In addition, you will work closely with product marketing, digital experience teams, and other stakeholders to align design with business goals.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in web design, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership or management role. A strong understanding of design principles, user research, and human-centered design is essential, as well as excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. A Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is also required.
Additional qualifications include experience with Agile development methodologies, knowledge of design systems and style guides, familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React and Angular, and certification in design or a related field. Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe CC and Figma, as well as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, is also necessary. Knowledge of accessibility guidelines and project management tools is a plus.
