About the Team: We are seeking a Senior Backend Developer to join our cross-functional app team. This role will focus on building the business logic and protocols for our platform, ensuring flexible flows, scalable systems, and continuous improvements.
Responsibilities:
– Design, build, and implement major user-facing features in collaboration with product managers, designers, and developers.
– Develop backend components using C#, ASP.NET Core, and TypeScript, integrated with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core.
– Create scalable APIs and services to support the growth of the Mimo platform.
– Build and maintain infrastructure, toolsets, and deployment pipelines with a focus on operational ownership.
– Thrive in this role by utilizing your 3+ years of experience as a backend developer, a bias for action, and a strong sense of urgency.
– Hold yourself and others to high standards when working with production systems and have a sound understanding of API design and best practices.
– Care deeply about code quality and follow engineering best practices, such as code reviews.
– Take the lead in ensuring reliability, with practical experience in securing, monitoring, log analysis, and conducting investigations in cloud-based environments.
– Pay excellent attention to detail, prioritize the user, and deeply care about the small details.
– Embrace the values of the DevOps mindset and have a curiosity for running software in DevOps environments.
– Possess knowledge of architecture, containerization, and orchestration, with a willingness to learn and utilize systems like Docker, Kubernetes, and/or Platform as a Service.
– Take ownership in solving problems completely, rather than simply shipping a solution.
– Operate autonomously and follow through on commitments.
Work Environment:
– This role requires candidates to be located within the UTC 0 to UTC+2 time zones.
– If located outside this range, relocation to our headquarters in Austria can be arranged, with work permit and travel expenses covered.
