Position: Middle+ UX/UI Designer
We are seeking a talented Middle+ UX/UI Designer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who excels at working with complex, technology-driven products and thrives in a fast-paced environment. As a key contributor, you will need a strong balance of practical product thinking, an ability to derive validated hypotheses from metrics, and proficiency in translating quantitative and qualitative insights into impactful designs.
In this role, you will focus on improving user journeys and flows, collaborate with multiple teams in an agile/scrum environment via Asana, and support the development and maintenance of design systems. You will also have the opportunity to go beyond aesthetics and solve real-world product challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
– Product Thinking & Problem-Solving: Partner with multiple development teams and product managers to identify and prioritize impactful design initiatives. Use product metrics and user data to craft validated hypotheses and ensure design decisions align with user and business needs. Advocate for and develop journey maps and flows that prioritize usability and practical solutions.
– Design Execution & Collaboration: Create wireframes, high-fidelity designs, and prototypes using Figma. Contribute to the maintenance and evolution of the design system to ensure consistency across complex workflows. Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure design feasibility and deliver on shared objectives. Stay up-to-date with the latest UX design trends and tools.
– Research & Validation: Conduct basic UX research using qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover pain points and validate solutions. Develop a strong understanding of user needs and use these insights to refine and improve designs.
– Communication & Process: Translate complex concepts into clear, actionable designs and effectively articulate the value of your solutions to diverse stakeholders. Maintain active communication in Asana and scrum processes to contribute to seamless team collaboration and alignment. Present ideas persuasively and manage feedback effectively.
Must-Have Qualifications:
– Experience & Portfolio: 4+ years of proven experience in UX/UI design, with a portfolio showcasing case studies where you have solved real-world product problems and driven measurable outcomes. During the interview, you will be expected to walk us through your product-driven decisions and provide metric-driven motivation for your solutions.
– Skills & Tools: Strong proficiency in Figma, Asana, and Adobe Creative Suite. Expertise in creating user flows, journey maps, and designs informed by metrics and user research. Basic knowledge of UX research methodologies and tools. Strong understanding of design systems and their application in complex products.
– Soft Skills: Strong product thinking, with the ability to derive insights from metrics and translate them into actionable designs. Exceptional communication and persuasion skills, with the ability to advocate for your design decisions and align teams around a shared vision. A pragmatic and collaborative approach to balancing competing interests and finding the best solutions.
– Language & Work Style: English proficiency (B2 and higher) at a conversational level to effectively collaborate with a global team.
