We are looking for a talented and driven Senior Financial Data Analyst to join our team and help us optimize the healthcare system for everyone.
Responsibilities
– Act as the point of contact for cross-functional teams such as finance, product, and customer support, to understand their needs and connect analyses to business outcomes
– Develop end-to-end reporting solutions to improve transparency and operational efficiency
– Work with leadership to create, refine, and maintain metrics to track company performance
– Conduct data-driven investigations into trends and anomalies impacting growth, customer success, product delivery, and reliability
– Become an expert in our entire data stack, including data collection from customers, normalization, and consumption by internal teams and customers
– Build, maintain, and test data models to support reporting and analytics
– Enhance customer-facing reports, visualizations, and dashboards to highlight the value SmarterDx provides to our customers
– Provide data analysis support for our AI-based products
Requirements
– 3-5+ years of experience as a business intelligence analyst or data analyst in a finance organization
– Strong technical skills, including SQL, ETL pipelines, Python, and data visualization
– Experience with health system clinical and/or revenue cycle data
– Ability to connect analytics to business understanding and use cases
– Ownership mindset with the ability to build and own features from start to finish
– Versatility in dealing with ambiguity and ability to hack together solutions
– Product-focused mindset to maximize utility and value for end users
Nice to Haves
– Experience with dbt, Hex, or Evidence
– Familiarity with clinical codes (ICD), DRGs (MS-DRG, APR-DRG), payor-specific rate data, zero-day change charge back data, and 835/837 data
Tech Stack
– Data Visualization: Hex and Evidence
– Analysis: Python & Data Science libraries (numpy, pandas, etc)
– Pipelines: Snowflake, dbt, airflow, git, and AWS
Compensation
