Moralis, a leading company in the cryptocurrency industry, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Backend Engineer to join our dynamic and rapidly expanding team. Our goal is to drive the adoption of crypto by empowering developers with cutting-edge technology.
As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with a welcoming and innovative team in a fast-paced, fully remote environment. Your role will involve working with on-chain data extraction and building data processing pipelines. This is a learning-intensive job, as you will need to understand and decode various on-chain data emitted by different blockchains.
We are looking for someone who is self-motivated and able to contribute independently, while also inspiring and guiding team members. You should have a strong understanding of NodeJS, NestJS, and Typescript stack, as well as experience with Massive Real-Time Systems and technologies such as Open API, DynamoDB, Redis, and Docker.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design and implement data processing pipelines for on-chain data extraction
– Continuously improve and optimize existing data pipelines for scalability, observability, and testability
– Stay up-to-date with industry standards and new innovations
– Lead and guide team members in implementing new features and technologies
– Take responsibility for sustaining the code base by identifying and addressing technical debt and scalability issues
– Collaborate with team members to solve problems and improve processes
Qualifications:
– 5+ years of experience in backend development
– Excellent understanding of NodeJS, NestJS, and Typescript stack
– Familiarity with Massive Real-Time Systems and technologies such as Open API, DynamoDB, Redis, and Docker
– Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, NoSQL, AWS, and Kubernetes
– Self-motivated with a drive to continuously improve and learn
– Ability to work independently and manage tasks and projects efficiently
– Strong leadership skills and ability to guide and inspire team members
– Experience with Gitlab and version control processes
– Fluent in English communication, both written and verbal
