Data Analyst – Lumata Health

Lumata Health, a leading healthcare company focused on preventing blindness and improving patient outcomes, is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our remote team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and optimize our healthcare solutions. You will work closely with various departments to extract insights that support our mission of enhancing patient experiences and outcomes.

Position Overview:

As a Data Analyst at Lumata Health, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients with chronic eye diseases. This position offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and a dynamic and inclusive remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

– Analyze healthcare data to evaluate care management operations and identify areas for improvement

– Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to visualize operational performance metrics and KPIs

– Collaborate with various stakeholders to define relevant metrics for evaluating care and business operations

– Complete analysis projects, ensuring data accuracy and integrity

– Communicate insights and findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Health Informatics, Business Analytics, or a related field (preferred)

– 2-3 years of experience as a Data Analyst in the healthcare sector, with a focus on care processes and/or business operations (preferred)

– Understanding of basic healthcare codes (CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS) is a requirement

– Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Advanced Excel)

– Proficiency in EDA and visualization software (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Quicksight)

– Strong understanding of healthcare metrics, operational assessments, and process improvement methodologies

– Knowledge of healthcare data privacy standards, such as HIPAA (required)

– Ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment

– Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights clearly

– Experience with AWS services and EHR data is a plus (preferred)

– Experience with Salesforce schemas is a plus (preferred)

– Experience with Python (preferred)
