Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Shopify Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing Shopify e-commerce websites for our clients. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, creativity, and a deep understanding of user experience and interface design.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design and customize Shopify themes and templates to create visually appealing and engaging online stores
– Develop and implement new features, functionalities, and third-party app integrations for Shopify sites
– Ensure website performance, speed, and responsiveness on all devices
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless e-commerce solutions
– Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs
– Maintain best practices to ensure the security and stability of Shopify sites
– Work closely with designers to ensure websites are user-friendly and aligned with brand identity
– Conduct user experience testing and provide insights to improve conversion rates
– Implement API integrations for third-party services and develop custom Shopify apps
– Set up and manage analytics tools to provide data-driven recommendations for improving e-commerce performance
Requirements:
– 2+ years of experience working with Shopify or Shopify Plus
– Proven track record of developing and launching successful Shopify stores
– Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
– Experience with version control systems like Git
– Familiarity with RESTful APIs and JSON
– Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce
– Experience with third-party app integrations and custom app development for Shopify (preferred)
– Familiarity with front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js (preferred)
– Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies (preferred)
– Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
– Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
– Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work
– Adaptable and able to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred)
