Position: Analytics Engineer at Hakkoda – Modern Data Consultancy
Location: Remote (North America, Latin America, and Europe)

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Analytics Engineer to join our growing team of experts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building data warehouses and analytics systems in the cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP).
In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data to identify trends and provide valuable insights for our clients. Your contributions will help improve their marketing, operational, and business practices through easily understandable visualizations. You will also support our experts in developing new tools and maintaining our proprietary databases.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a related field with a strong quantitative focus.
– 3+ years of experience in technical roles, with a background in data management, database development, BI, ETL, or data analysis.
– Proficiency in data preparation, dashboards, analytics, and visualization tools such as R, Python, Power BI, and Tableau.
– Experience with SQL scripting, Python, and cloud infrastructure is a plus.
– Knowledge of data modeling, data warehousing, data lakes, and big data concepts.
– Familiarity with tools such as Snowflake, Sigma, Looker, DBT, and Matillion is a plus.
– Ability to prepare reports and present to internal and external stakeholders.
– Strong interpersonal skills, including assertiveness and the ability to build client relationships.
– Excellent project management and organizational skills.
– Ability to work with cross-functional and agile teams in a dynamic environment.
– Proficient in English.
