Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled backend developer to join our cross-functional app team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing business logic and protocols to enhance the user experience on our platform. You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to create engaging features using C#, ASP.NET Core, and TypeScript.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design, build, and ship user-facing engagement features using C#, ASP.NET Core, and TypeScript.
– Develop backend components in conjunction with SQL Server and Entity Framework Core as ORM.
– Design scalable APIs and services to support the growth of the Mimo platform.
– Build and maintain infrastructure, toolset, and deployment pipelines.
– Ensure operational ownership of services.
– Thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong sense of urgency to solve problems.
– Maintain high standards for code quality and performance.
– Demonstrate a deep understanding of API design and best practices.
– Take the lead in ensuring reliability and security of production systems.
– Pay close attention to detail and prioritize user needs.
– Embrace a DevOps mindset and continuously seek to improve processes.
– Stay updated on the latest trends in architecture, containerization, and orchestration.
Qualifications:
– 3+ years of experience as a backend developer with a focus on consumer-facing products.
– Proficient in C# and ASP.NET Core.
– Strong understanding of API design and best practices.
– Practical experience with cloud-based environments (GCP preferred).
– Familiarity with container systems like Docker, Kubernetes, and/or Platform as a Service.
– Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work autonomously.
– Strong attention to detail and a user-centric mindset.
