0x, a leading company in the cryptocurrency industry, is looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team. Our mission is to simplify the process of accessing tokens and liquidity for web3 builders through our suite of APIs. We have processed over 60 million transactions and $130 billion in trading volume since our founding in 2017. Our investors include Greylock Partners, Pantera Capital, and Jump Crypto.
As a Senior Product Designer at 0x, you will play a crucial role in the product development process. You will work closely with product management and engineering to contribute new ideas and ensure design quality and consistency. Your responsibilities will include designing for various products and collaborating with both internal and external teams. This may involve creating graphics, materials for events, and strategizing around governance and community involvement.
We are looking for a talented individual with a strong understanding of design and its ability to inspire and drive user adoption. You should have a keen eye for product and branding and be able to adapt visual design to align with accompanying text, materials, and philosophies. Collaboration and empathy are essential values to us, and we value diverse viewpoints. You should be able to take a vision and turn it into a tangible, delightful, and easily digestible design.
Responsibilities:
– Translate complex workflows into simple, compelling solutions for audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge
– Assist with designing landing pages and collateral for product launches
– Maintain and expand 0x’s design system to ensure brand consistency
– Design and prototype elegant flows and experiences
– Collaborate with the Core team and external stakeholders on high-level strategic decisions
– Advocate for design by sharing your work and presenting to cross-functional teams, while being able to articulate design rationale
– Contribute to design best practices and thinking in the blockchain space
– Inspire the team with new ideas and perspectives
Requirements:
– Exceptional portfolio showcasing work across multiple platforms (web and mobile)
– Empathy for the developer and end-user experience, with the ability to create tailored workflows and visual messaging
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Ability to self-manage, prioritize, and work within design constraints
– Passion for decentralization and the 0x mission
– Alignment with our core values: do the right thing, consistently ship, and focus on long-term impact
Preferred:
– Front-end coding experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
– Experience with buying and selling cryptocurrency
– Experience designing for crypto/Ethereum projects
– Illustration, interaction, or animation skills
– Familiarity with Figma
– Enthusiasm for representing 0x publicly through blog posts, conferences, and presentations
