Position: Trade Analyst at Magic Spoon
Location: New York City (Remote candidates considered)
Salary Range: $80,000-$115,000 per year

Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Trade Analyst to join our Commercial team and drive promotional effectiveness across our rapidly growing retail business. This role will play a crucial part in optimizing our trade spend and supporting data-driven decision making for our sales organization.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer and maintain our trade promotion management system, serving as the primary point of contact for system-related questions and training.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to ensure accurate promotional calendars and forecasts in our TPM system.
• Conduct post-promotion analysis to evaluate ROI and provide recommendations for future promotional strategies.
• Track trade spend and analyze variances between actual and forecasted spend.
• Assist with deduction management in partnership with the Finance team.
• Generate regular reports on promotional performance and trade spend efficiency.
• Work with the Demand Planning team to ensure alignment between promotional forecasts and supply planning.
Requirements:
• 2-4 years of experience in trade promotion analysis, revenue management, or a similar analytical role.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with TPM systems (Modus or similar).
• Experience supporting sales teams and understanding retail promotional mechanics.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex analysis to various stakeholders.
• Experience in the consumer packaged goods industry is preferred.

Please note that the anticipated annual base salary range for this role is $80,000-$115,000. The actual salary offered will be based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
