We are currently seeking a dynamic and creative Product Designer to join our team. This is an exciting turning point in our company’s journey as we continue to grow and expand our impact. As a Product Designer at Teachable, you will have the unique opportunity to shape the future of our iOS and Android apps. Our mobile experience is a crucial way for our creators’ audiences to engage with their content, and you will be responsible for leading the design process to make it even better. This role will also allow you to dive deep into our student user archetype and create impactful experiences.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to design and execute a strategy that balances user needs and business goals. You will advocate for users and conduct research to uncover their needs, while also keeping business goals in mind. Your responsibilities will include designing, testing, tweaking, and bringing your best ideas to life. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to evaluate the success of your designs and make improvements as needed.
We are looking for someone with at least 2 years of professional product design experience, including native mobile app design work. You should have a strong understanding of native mobile best practices and customer needs, as well as expertise in visual design principles. Effective communication and partnership skills are also essential for this role.
