Job Description:
We are seeking a Senior Data Visualization Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to showcase your leadership, guidance, and mentoring skills while working as an experienced individual contributor. As a Senior Data Visualization Specialist, you will be responsible for translating complex data into easy-to-understand visual representations that assist stakeholders in making informed decisions. Strong data analysis skills, effective communication, and proficiency in tools such as Power BI are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain data visualization tools and platforms to improve decision-making processes
– Manage reporting requirements and track progress, decisions, and execution
– Collaborate with VA personnel to understand reporting strategies and align on new reports
– Evaluate and incorporate updates to business processes that may impact reporting logic or require new reports
– Provide input on data collection requirements to meet reporting goals
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience (or equivalent experience in place of education)
– Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
– Proficiency in Power BI and Power Query
– Experience creating dashboards and reports for high-level leadership
– Comfortable working in an Agile environment
Desired Qualifications:
– Experience with Office 365
– Knowledge of DAX and/or M code
– Familiarity with SharePoint for organizing and storing documents
– Previous experience in federal contracting
