Role Overview:
Higharc is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our team and lead the experience design of our groundbreaking homebuilding platform. In this role, you will be responsible for designing intuitive and scalable user experiences that simplify complex processes and make home design and construction more accessible, efficient, and human. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, architects, and 3D visualization experts to create tools that serve builders, buyers, and everyone involved in bringing homes to life. This is a unique opportunity to make a real-world impact and play a critical role in shaping the future of the homebuilding industry.
Responsibilities:
– Lead the design of intuitive and scalable user experiences across Higharc’s platform
– Translate complex and detailed workflows into simple and elegant solutions
– Collaborate closely with homebuilders, suppliers, contractors, and buyers to understand their needs and pain points
– Develop journey maps, user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to explore and validate ideas
– Work collaboratively with product, engineering, and architecture teams to bring ideas to life from concept to launch
– Provide a strong design perspective and influence the strategic direction of the product
– Balance detail with big-picture product vision and articulate trade-offs in a fast-moving environment
Requirements:
– 7+ years of experience designing web-based software with a focus on interaction and user experience
– A proven track record of shipping high-quality and thoughtful product experiences in complex domains
– A strong portfolio showcasing your process, thinking, and ability to simplify complexity
– Deep user empathy and excellent communication skills, especially when working with cross-functional teams
– A systems-thinking mindset and the ability to balance detail with big-picture product vision
– Experience in defining and delivering net-new experiences, not just iterating on existing patterns
– Comfortable managing ambiguity and driving towards clarity in a fast-paced environment
Bonus Points:
– Background or passion in architecture, construction tech, or home design
– Familiarity with 3D tools or environments (e.g., Revit, Rhino, SketchUp, Unity, Three.js)
– Experience contributing to or evolving a design system
