Job Description:
Lime is seeking a highly skilled Senior Analytics Engineer to join our dynamic Data Science & Analytics team. Reporting to the Manager of Analytics Engineering & BI, you will play a crucial role in improving our data ecosystem and supporting the growth of our business. As our company transitions to a more structured, high-performing organization, we need a talented individual to enhance developer productivity and optimize our data workflows.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain scalable analytics infrastructure including dbt transformations, legacy pipelines, and Tableau reporting.
– Create efficient SQL transformations and optimize data workflows to produce reliable, high-performance datasets for reporting and self-service analytics.
– Collaborate with various stakeholders, such as data scientists, product managers, and software engineers, to ensure analytics solutions align with business needs.
– Implement data governance best practices, including documentation, lineage tracking, and data quality validation.
– Enable self-service analytics by effectively structuring BI tools and providing clear data documentation.
– Evaluate and integrate new technologies to improve automation, orchestration, and overall analytics workflows.
Requirements:
– Expert in reading and writing SQL code with experience in performance tuning and query optimization.
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in analytics engineering, data modeling, or related fields.
– Familiarity with modern ELT best practices, especially dbt core.
– Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable data models.
– Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Experience:
– Experience in modeling B2C data.
– Knowledge of orchestration tools such as Airflow.
