Position: Data Analyst

Role Overview:

As a Data Analyst at Stio, you will play a vital role in leveraging data to inform decision making across our company. This full-stack position will involve everything from building data infrastructure to conducting in-depth analysis in various functional areas to guide business strategy. As a member of our growing analytics team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our processes, infrastructure, and analysis projects. Working closely with teams from finance, operations, marketing, and product development, you will analyze business performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive positive change at Stio.

Responsibilities:

– Own seasonal reporting and analysis to inform product strategy
– Create and maintain business intelligence dashboards for various departments
– Assist in building and maintaining Stio’s data infrastructure
– Conduct ad hoc analysis to understand business performance and support senior leadership
– Automate manual reporting and analysis tasks
– Improve data governance through documentation and process improvement
– Continuously learn and stay updated on technical best practices

Skills and Experience:

– 3+ years of experience as a data analyst or similar role
– Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas
– Experience with at least one BI tool (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
– Intermediate SQL skills
– Experience creating presentations and communicating analysis findings to leadership
– Strong attention to detail and ability to connect data to the bigger picture

Preferred additional skills and experience:

– Advanced SQL skills and experience with coding languages (e.g. R, Python)
– Experience with cloud data warehouses and data transformation tools
– Familiarity with systems used by Stio (e.g. Netsuite, Shopify, Google Analytics, Segment)
– Prior experience with a direct-to-consumer company in retail, apparel/footwear, or outdoor equipment industries

Compensation:

We offer competitive compensation packages, including base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base salary range for this role is $62,000 – $80,000. Actual pay will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
