Job Description:
We are seeking a talented Marketing Cloud Specialist to join our team and use their digital skills to support important initiatives such as electing Democrats and combating climate change. In this role, you will work closely with our digital production and accounts teams to enhance our clients’ use of the Salesforce CRM, specifically Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This is a unique opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in the progressive movement.
Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive and supportive work environment
– Design and implement scalable and efficient solutions on the Salesforce platform
– Develop and deliver Salesforce solutions
– Provide guidance on best practices for Salesforce configuration, customization, and development
– Participate in implementation planning and manage any issues or changes to ensure user adoption
– Identify and address technical risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle
– Train and develop the digital production team on Salesforce best practices
– Work closely with stakeholders to understand needs and requirements
– Track project progress and communicate updates to leadership
– Support the team in creating digital user journeys that raise awareness and drive change for important social, environmental, and political issues
Requirements:
– 1-3 years of experience as a Salesforce developer with a strong understanding of the platform and its capabilities, specifically Marketing Cloud
– Proficiency in at least one other relevant system, such as Luminate Online, Engaging Networks, Bonterra, or Salesforce
– Experience with HTML/CSS and SQL
– Strong knowledge of Salesforce data model and database concepts
– Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members
– Experience with Excel or other data-processing software
Preferred Qualifications:
– Salesforce certifications (e.g. Salesforce Certified System Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified Integration Architect)
– Familiarity with JIRA or other task-management systems
– Experience in email production
– Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising
Salary: $73,000-$83,000 annually, based on experience.
NOTE: This is a union-represented position, and specific employment terms and conditions are subject to collective bargaining.
Location:
This position is currently remote, with no return-to-office date announced. Applicants must reside in one of the following states: AZ, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MA, MD, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NM, NY, OR, PA, SC, TX, VA, or WI. As required by FL legislation, MissionWired participates in e-verify.
*Occasional availability to work nights and weekends during high-volume times, such as elections, may be required.
