Job Description
We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our technology team on a contract to hire basis. In this role, you will play a vital role in analyzing data and providing valuable insights to support key business objectives and drive data-driven decision making across our organization. You will work closely with various teams, including Business Operations, Clinical Operations, Product, and Marketing, as well as our technology team of Engineers and Senior Data Analyst.
Your responsibilities will include pulling and analyzing data from multiple sources, building dashboards in Lightdash (an alternative to Looker), and collaborating with stakeholders to understand their data needs. Your ability to tell stories with data while maintaining data integrity will be critical to your success in this role. Prior experience in analyzing complex clinical/healthcare data is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute high-visibility reporting projects with a focus on data quality
Clean and transform raw data for reporting and analysis purposes
Design and maintain Lightdash dashboards for internal and external reporting needs
Conduct analysis for quarterly reports for external clients
Perform ad-hoc analyses to support cross-functional initiatives and decision making
Execute client return data files
Present findings to both technical and non-technical team members in a clear and concise manner
Participate in technology team meetings, refinements, and code reviews

Qualifications:
Experience:
1-2 years of experience as a Data Analyst or Business Analyst
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Finance)
Experience working with healthcare data, specifically AthenaOne or Athena Data View, is a plus
Skills and Abilities:
Proficiency in SQL with demonstrated experience working with complex production data
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of Python or other programming languages is preferred but not required
Familiarity with various statistical methods for data analysis
Experience working with BI tools, such as Looker or Lightdash
Experience working with data warehouses, such as Snowflake
Experience with dbt (Data Build Tool) is a plus
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics relevant to business operations, such as revenue, cost optimization, and productivity and efficiency
Ability to break down complex problems and offer creative data-driven solutions with a focus on optimization and scalability
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
