About the Role:
As a Software Engineer, MLOps at Motive, you will play a critical role in driving the development and deployment of AI/ML pipelines. These pipelines are designed to efficiently and effectively train and infer models, automating and simplifying tasks for our clients. This position requires a collaborative and growth-oriented mindset, as well as a focus on team member career development.
Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and deploy MLOps infrastructure to enhance the speed of AI and deep learning model development and deployment, including CI/CD, input data unit and statistical testing, experiment tracking, model registry, and production feature monitoring and alerting.
– Create scalable cloud AI/ML pipelines for customer-facing inference and visualization services.
– Implement and manage best practices for MLOps, including model development automation, evaluation, testing, and deployment.
– Address availability issues and scale pipelines, while continuously improving features and maintaining SLAs for performance, reliability, and system availability.
– Collaborate with technical leads and managers to understand project requirements and business needs, and work with cross-functional teams to deliver features, services, and pipelines.
– Mentor junior team members.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
– 4+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and operating scalable software systems and services.
– 4+ years of hands-on experience with MLOps and DevOps tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Kubeflow, Spark, Airflow, AWS, and CI/CD.
– Strong CS foundations, including knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with other teams and clearly communicate about your work.
– Knowledge of computer vision, deep learning, machine learning, or statistical and predictive modeling is a plus.
