Backend Engineer – Incode (Remote, Belgrade preferred)

We are rapidly expanding our global team and seeking driven and curious individuals to join our Unicorn-status scale-up. As a Software Engineer at Incode, you will have the opportunity to build from scratch, influence product decisions, collaborate with partner teams in design, customer success, and product, and take on a wide range of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
– Collaborate with a team of backend and DevOps engineers
– Write high-quality code with test coverage
– Work closely with QA, Customer Success, and Product teams
– Participate in code reviews
– Contribute to full-cycle development, from model and API design to support in production
– Play an active role in architectural and technology decisions
Requirements:
– 3+ years of experience in software development
– Proficiency in Java/Kotlin
– Experience with the Spring ecosystem
– Experience with observability tools
– Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases, preferably Postgres and MongoDB
– Experience in designing domain models and web APIs
– Quality-oriented approach to software development
– Familiarity with AWS
– Experience with ML-centric systems (optional)
– Advanced English skills
