We are currently looking for a Backend Web Developer to join our team and assist in developing websites, web apps, and integrations.
Requirements:
– Must be a resident of the United States, Canada, or Mexico
– Minimum of 2 years of professional web development experience
– Strong background in PHP and JavaScript
– Experience with Angular and/or NestJS is a bonus
– Proficiency in CSS is preferred
– Ability to work collaboratively with in-house design, development, and strategy teams
– Passion for learning and staying updated on industry trends
– Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
– Self-motivated and able to work in a remote environment

Responsibilities:
– Develop websites, web applications, and APIs using PHP and JavaScript
– Maintain existing web applications and migrate older projects to modern infrastructure
– Participate in designing new build tooling and automated test tooling
– Create custom marketing website functionality using CMSs such as WordPress and Hubspot
– Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
– Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure quality and best practices
– Communicate effectively with team members through various channels
Qualifications:
– Minimum of 2 years of professional web development experience with a focus on PHP and backend JavaScript
– Strong communication skills and ability to provide clear updates on progress
– Self-directed and able to take responsibility for productivity
– Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
– Familiarity with Git, Bash, and VS Code
– Basic understanding of RESTful and other API design patterns
