In this role, you will work on Colossus, our electronic medical records (EMR) integration product. • Develop, enhance, and maintain EMR integrations across various healthcare systems.
• Design and implement APIs, manage data storage solutions, and handle server-side application logic.
• Collaborate with the Colossus team to create robust and reliable back-end services.
• Work closely with a team that values rapid execution and decision-making.
• Focus primarily on server-side development, including database interactions and integration with front-end components.
• Utilize a tech stack that includes Python, Flask, database management, and cloud services.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• [Preferred] Strong back-end programming skills with proficiency in Python.
• Expertise in developing and managing data pipelines, as well as extensive experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational database management systems.
• Knowledge in containerization and cloud services, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• At least two years of professional back-end development experience.
• A builder’s mindset with a passion for high-impact projects.
• Experience in building and maintaining production environments.
• Skills in alerting, reporting, metrics tracking, and software reliability engineering.
• Exceptional product sense with a focus on user experience and customer needs.
