Suvoda is seeking a qualified Design Consultant II to join our global clinical trial technology team. This role is remote and open to candidates in the US.

The Design Consultant II will be responsible for designing an Interactive Response Technology (IRT) solution for randomization and drug supply management on a cross-functional project team. This role requires a deep understanding of the clinical trial industry, regulations, Suvoda’s software products and processes, as well as the specific needs of each trial.
Responsibilities:
– Design an IRT solution that meets the study requirements based on the clinical protocol, the Suvoda proposal/executed work order, and client discussions
– Accurately and thoroughly document all requirements in the specification template(s)
– Lead internal team review of draft specifications and serve as the main point of contact for IRT design related questions during the build process
– Lead client review of IRT specifications and supporting documents, making updates as needed and obtaining approval by the agreed upon milestone date
– Develop the UAT plan, test scripts, and coordinate data setup for client UAT
– Serve as the primary point of contact for design questions from both internal and external stakeholders during the system build process
– Lead client UAT of the IRT system and track any required fixes or updates, working with the project manager to determine timelines
– Assist with any re-design of the IRT system or implementation of new features during the maintenance period
– Identify and implement process improvements for the services department
– Collaborate with the product team to provide feedback on client requests and project experience for the design and development of new features
– Travel to client sites for meetings and user training sessions
– Provide support to system users as needed via phone and email
– Train new staff members on Suvoda’s product and processes
– Perform other related duties as required
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills
– Excellent time management and organizational skills
– Analytical and systematic thinking ability
– Creative problem-solving skills
– Ability to understand technical details and effectively explain them to non-technical users
– Detail-oriented mindset
Role Levels and Experience:
– At least three years of experience in IRT or related field preferred
– Experience in clinical trials or healthcare industry is a plus
